Do the ingredients in the product meet the criteria for being 'green ingredients', that is, organic and/or natural, high yielding and sustainable?

 It is vital to use hair care products that are made with natural, plant based ingredients and preservatives. To this end, our products do not contain parabens, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), artificial fragrances or colours. They utilise plant derived cleansers sourced from renewable raw materials and are much kinder on your hair and scalp, while helping to keep our water ways cleaner. 

All of our other ingredients have been chosen for their hair health enhancing functions and plant based sustainablity. (Disclosure: one ingredient - the conditioning base used in our two conditioners contains greater than 70% of natural materials and has a small unquantifiable amount of palm oil, sourced from a supplier who is committed to a sustainable palm oil industry and is a member of the Round Table for Sustainable Production of Palm (RSPO) )

Many of the flowers and leaves used in the recipes grow organically in our supplier's own garden. The main preservative that we use is derived from the Styrax tree and is known for its anti oxidant and antiseptic properties, making it an ideal natural preservative. Another preservative that we use is corn based and has been chosen for its known moisturising effect as well as for its preservative qualities.

Summary: We are proud that our shampoos and styling products are 100% natural, while our conditioners are virtually 100% natural.
